We attended PlayX4 2026, one of South Korea’s leading game exhibitions.

As VIZICUBE has participated in PlayX4 every year, we returned to the event again this year. However, observing the event over recent years, we could not help but feel that the overall scale and content of the exhibition have been gradually shrinking compared to previous years. It was disheartening to see, as it seemed to reflect the challenging circumstances currently faced by development studios.

In the business sector, we were pleased to come across a booth from the Taipei Game Show, which we visited earlier this year, and we engaged in various meaningful conversations. We look forward to seeing the Taiwanese gaming market thrive even further and hope to meet again at the Taipei Game Show next year.

While the designated areas to rest and enjoy a cup of coffee during breaks were convenient, it was somewhat regrettable that the environment became a bit distracting. Unlike the setup in Taiwan, there were no separate meeting rooms available to fully focus on conversations.
Although PlayX4 leaves us with some regrets each year, we hope to see it return with a more improved and developed presence next year.
